The Golden Divot returns to Sawtell Golf Club on Friday 20 November 2026 for another unforgettable celebration of golf, friendship and community.

Founded in Sawtell in 2001 by three high school mates, the Golden Divot has grown from a small gathering of friends into one of the most anticipated days on the local golfing calendar. Players of all abilities are invited to take part, with free handicaps allocated to those who do not hold an official handicap.

The main competition will be played as an individual stroke event, with a two man team competition running in conjunction. Players can chase individual glory while also combining with a partner for the team title.

All the Golden Divot favourites will return, including the Green Jacket, the Rusty 10 Iron, the Pink Divot and Pete the Putter. Together, these traditions have created decades of stories, rivalries, questionable scoring and unforgettable moments on the fairways of Sawtell.

Single Entry

Single players will be automatically placed into a group. Grouping requests are not available with this entry option.
